What is DMA?
Direct Memory Access (DMA) allows compatible hardware devices—like our PCIe cards—to transfer data directly to/from your computer's memory, bypassing the CPU. This enables faster, more efficient high-speed operations for tasks like real-time data processing, networking, or storage.
Do I need firmware for the DMA card?
Yes, firmware is required for proper operation. DMAKings offers multiple pre-configured firmware options at purchase. You can also select Bring Your Own Firmware (BYOF) if you prefer to flash your own—firmware must be compatible with the card hardware.
What are the hardware requirements?
Any motherboard with an available PCIe slot (x1, x4, x8, or x16) works—no special BIOS settings needed. PCIe slots are typically located below your GPU. Check your motherboard manual to confirm slot availability and lane support.
What is your return/refund policy?
All sales are final except for defective-on-arrival (DOA) hardware or wrong item shipped, as detailed in our Refund and Returns Policy.
- Contact support@dmakings.com within 7 days of delivery with order details, photos/video of the issue, and unopened packaging.
- Unauthorized returns will be refused.
- Customer pays return shipping unless we approve coverage for a confirmed defect.
- Digital products (firmware/licenses) are non-refundable once delivered.
- We test all returns and reserve the right to deny requests or apply fees at our discretion.
Where do you ship from, and how fast?
We ship from California, USA via UPS (domestic) or FedEx (international). Orders ship within 2-3 business days of purchase confirmation.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery time depends on your selected method:
- UPS Ground Saver (domestic): 2-5 business days
- FedEx Connect Plus (international): 5-10 business days
- Expedited options available at checkout
You'll receive a tracking email immediately after shipment.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Rates are based on package weight (~3-4 lbs, 10x7x5" box), destination, and speed selected. Real-time quotes display at checkout. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Do you offer expedited/international shipping?
Yes—multiple speeds show at checkout, including priority/express options. International customers: expect customs/duties (not included in shipping).
Can I cancel my order?
Before shipment: Contact support@dmakings.com ASAP—we'll try to cancel but may charge a processing fee.
After shipment: No cancellations; see refund policy for return options.
Is tracking provided?
Yes—automatic email with tracking link once shipped. Monitor via UPS/FedEx site.
What payment methods do you accept?
Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions encrypted.
Are your products compatible with my setup?
Our DMA PCIe cards work with standard PCIe motherboards (Intel/AMD). You are responsible for compatibility testing—check PCIe lane support and BIOS settings. No guarantees for custom/overclocked/modified systems.
Do you offer support or documentation?
Product pages include specs, manuals, and setup guides.

Can I resell or modify your products?
Products are for personal, non-commercial use unless you have written permission. Reverse engineering, firmware modification for resale, or bulk redistribution violates our Terms of Service.
What warranty do products come with?
Hardware covered by our limited Refund and Returns Policy only—no additional express warranties. Digital products sold as-is. See Terms of Service for full warranty disclaimer.
